Say Hello to My Little Friend

This is FIDGET... I crocheted "him" in the style called "amigurumi"; which is a Japanese style of crocheting dolls. It took me about 3 hours to learn the pattern and make this doll. I've already made another one, out of Lion Suede from Lion Brand yarn (soft and chenille-y). Pic of that one to follow!

i heart crochet

Here is the sweet hat that I learned to crochet from Rob's cousin Sarah... she ROCKS!! I have tried to crochet a few times in the past, but never got further than a swatch... and always snuck back to my knitting, that seemed so much "easier". This took me about 5 or 6 hours to make (total) over two days. The flower took about an hour, including a false start or two. How cool is this??

Conner's Toque

It was Conner's first birthday party, and I made him a fun new toque. He really seems to like it! :)

Hmmmm.. looks like Aaron wanted to try on the hat.. I think it's a little big for him ;)

Faux Knitting

My husband (manly man that he is) made this on the KNIFTY KNITTER (not to be confused with ACTUALLY knitting). He knocked this off in about 4 hours.. and is immensely proud of himself!
